 WE ARE GOING TO REBUILD THE PDP...JIMI AGBAJE ...AS PDP RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE VISITS CHIEF JIMI AGBAJE.  Gov Dickson led reconciliation committee in continuation of their engagement in the South West  parleyed with Chief Jimi Agbaje in his Apapa home. The Governors' delegation included former Minister(s)Ambassador Aminu Wali, John Odey,Lorenzo Mallam,, Senator Abdul Ningi Eddy Olafeso, and Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP National Publicity Secretary.  Gov Dickson came with a message of solidarity from the party stating that he came to assure him that the party holds him in high esteem and would thus like to continue to benefit from his vast experience, contacts and reach as we prepare for another general elections in 2019.  In his response Chief Jimi Agbaje thanked the delegation for taking time out to visit him. The coordinator of the GCUOBA Cricket Club, Mr. Peter Ekeijare has appealed to the GCUOBA members especially those leaving in Lagos and environs to be reminded that our match against PIONEER Cricket Club comes up tomorrow, Saturday 16 th of December, 2017 at IGBOBI College Lagos. First ball is 10am. He implored all old boys and friends of Government College Ughelli to come out in their numbers to watch and cheer their darling team to victory. It will be recalled that GCUOBA Cricket Club defeated the FCC 11 team and went away with an extra point from the match on the 25 th November, the same day one of its deceased members was laid to rest. FINALLY- The Senate has passed the Electoral Act No. 6 2010 Amendment Bill 2017 into law. ......Card Reader technology to be fully implemented henceforth ......House of Reps aspirants to pay N1, 000,000.00  ......State Assembly aspirants to pay 500, 000, 00 1. There shall now be full biometric accreditation of voters with Smart Card Readers and/or other technological devices, as INEC may introduce for elections from time to time. 2. Presiding Officers must now instantly transmit accreditation data and results from Polling Units to various collation centers. Presiding officer who contravene this shall be imprisoned for at least 5 years (no option of fine). 3. All Presiding Officers must now first record accreditation data and polling results on INEC’s prescribed forms before transmitting them.
