 Hon. Newman Ugiagbe leads Government Appointees to Familiarize with PDP Orhionmwon.



The Special Adviser to Governor Obaseki on Community Development, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe today lead Government Appointees and APC Members who have dumped the party from the 12 Wards 
Of Orhionmwon  to meet with their PDP counterparts as they familiarize with each other.

The meeting held at Abudu, the administrative Headquarter of Orhionmwon was called to enable the All Progressive Congress members who have dumped the party to Familiarize, and also plan on when to receive other APC members  who have recently indicated strong interest to join the PDP.


Hon. Newman Ugiagbe, in his address, described the PDP as a family United by the unbroken Bond of love and hunger for Development of the State.  He Appreciated the party for wholeheartedly accommodating the decampees and their resolve to win the September 19th Governorship Election.
Adding that victory is sure at the polls. According to him, only what is needed is to ensure the votes are protected from the unit level to the Collation Centers, Stressing that elections are either won or lost at the polling units.
In his words, "We shall Resist vehemently all plans by the APC to Rig the Upcoming Governorship Election in the State. We must ensure our votes are protected no matter the intimidations.
The Collective will of Edo people will never be Circumvented by Greedy Few" he Concluded.


Responding, Barrister Akhimien (SAN), a PDP leader in The LGA expressed joy at the caliber of persons who have joined the party, saying that he is very confident and convinced beyond doubt that the PDP is heading for victory come September 19th. He therefore pleaded with all and sundry to be United and build on the love which is currently prevalent within the PDP family.
Also, the PDP leader called on all Party faithfuls to ensure PDP flag remains in Osadebey Avenue beyond September 19th, saying that all hands must be on deck to deliver Godwin Obaseki.


Present at the meeting are, The Council Chairman, Hon. Sylvester Okoro, Hon. Asoro Roland, the Council Secretary, Mr Okankan Sunday, Hon. Sunday Iyamu.

Others are, Barrister Akhimien(SAN), Lady Uwa, Hon. Friday Ogierhikhi and many others.
