The National President of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni
Association, High Chief Chris Adokeme, has congratulated the newly inaugurated
Executive Council of the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Association.
In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the
Association, Mr. Onoriode K. Apke today in Abuja, High Chief Chris Adokeme, a
Lawyer and also a member of the Governing Council of the University of Port
Harcourt, congratulated the Akwa Ibom State Chapter for the successful election
and inauguration of a new Executive Council.
High Chief Adokeme noted that the new Executive Council led by its
President Mr. Chris Udi, who has proven his capacity by his successes in his
professional endeavours has what it takes to deliver on his campaign promises
to bring about advancement and progress of the State Chapter. He promised the
support of the National body to the success of the 5-Point Agenda of the Chris
Udi led Executive Council of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni
Association, Akwa Ibom Chapter.
Chief Chris Adokeme while commending the smooth transition from the old
Executive Council to the new, said the University of Port Harcourt noted for
its Unique graduates has shown through the achievements of its graduates in
various aspects of human endeavour that, it is truly a Unique institution
and that all hands must be on deck to maintain the good reputation of the
Institution and its products.
Finally, he said the Association is always available for all its members
at home and abroad, especially those who are interested in the developments and
activities in the University of Port Harcourt whom he urged to join any of the
Chapters of the Alumni closest to them nationwide.
Congratulations Mr President for moving the association forward as I also congratulate Mr Chris Udi and his executive I wish them success in their tenure
