WARNS AGAINST ABUSE OF STATE POWER As the 2019 general election fast approaches, Bayelsa State Governor, Honourable Seriake Dickson has cautioned political leaders not to use state resources and authority to the detriment of any group or section of the country. The Governor also emphasized the need for those occupying positions of public trust not to only focus attention on physical development, but also prioritize what he calls intangible ingredients of democracy, such as transparency and security of lives and property. DICKSON BAGS AIT AWARD FOR TRANSPARENCY The Governor of Bayelsa State, Honorable Henry Seriake Dickson on Thursday bagged the AIT award for Outstanding leadership and good governance in Accountability. The governor devoted the award to the good people of Bayelsa for giving him and his team the opportunity to come up with policies and programmes to make the desired  impact in the lives of the people.
