Aminu Tambuwal as Chairman, PDP Governors Forum, some aggrieved elders and stakeholders of North Central extraction under the aegis of PDP North Central Stakeholders Forum say they will not accept Tambuwal's emergence. In a press statement signed by its National Coordinator, Mallam Nazif Abdullahi, the group said it felt betrayed because the position had been zoned to its region based on the fact that Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State was pencilled down to succeed the outgoing chairman, Hon. Finial games to commence By Douye Timi Governor Seriake Dickson in a pre match introduction in one of the earlier Restoration Cup matches The final phase of the Henry Seriake Dickson Football Tournament otherwise known as the Restoration Cup will resume on Monday, January 20. Director-General of the tournament, Mr. Ono Akpe, in a statement on behalf of the organisers, said the curtain on the biggest grassroots football tournament in Nigeria would be drawn in the next two weeks.  Mr. Akpe expressed the apology of the organisers for the lengthy suspension of the competition and said that they appreciate the patience and understanding of the registered teams, their sponsors and other football stakeholders. In a statement on Wednesday, the Forum, said the news of the apex court verdicts did not come as a surprise because of the massive support the trio received from the people and residents of Delta, Taraba and Abia States as the case may be during the March 9th, 2019 Governorship Election.
