I PRAY PROFESSOR ITSE SAGAY IS NOT GOING SENILE, SAYS JONATHAN Former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Monday reacted to the statement credited to the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Itse Sagay, that if he (Jonathan) had another three years in the office, Nigerians would have been crossing Sahara to Libya In a statement by his former aide, Reno Omokri, he wondered if Sagay is going senile, saying the “assertion flies against the facts on the ground.” Supporting his argument, Omokri pointed out that the “World Bank says our economy was better under Jonathan than it is now.” According to him, Transparency International had reported that “corruption is worse today than under Jonathan. COMMUNIQUE OF THE MEETING OF THE SOUTH-SOUTH/ SOUTH- EAST GOVERNORS FORUM HELD IN GOVERNMENT HOUSE, UYO, AKWA-IBOM STATE ON SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER. 2017. The Governors of the south-south /South-East states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria met in Uyo, Akwa-ibom State on 26th November 2017,to discuss and take positions on issues common to the interest of the States in the two regions on the affairs of the nation. The meeting which was chaired by Mr. Emmanuel Udom, Governor of Cross Rivers State, had in attendance seven Governors and two deputy governors. Others present in the meeting where Governor Rocha's Okorocha of Imo State, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State. Professor Ivara Ezu and Dr. Nkem  Okeke, both deputy Governors represented the governor's of Cross Rivers and Anambra State

ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRST-EVER NIGERIAN POLICE BROADCASTING SERVICE (NPBS); NIGERIA POLICE PARTNERS NIGERIA CONTENT DEVELOPMENT BOARD 24/11/2017 BY Pat PA Okon THURSDAY, the Chairman/CEO of the proposed Nigeria Police Broadcasting Service (NPBS), Mr Edirin Jerry Wesley and his team made a business visit to the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Engineer Simbi Kesiye Wabote, at Bank of Industry (BOI) House, Abuja. The visit was to formally introduce the NPBS concept to the Local Content Board, as well as solicit for areas of possible partnership agreements for the Police Broadcasting Service. The meeting focused on the state of insecurity and the recent breakdown of law and order in some areas, especially the escalating tension in some areas of the region caused by the recent threat by the Niger Delta Avengers to resume attacks on oil installations in the oil rich region.
