On behalf of  the GCUOBA Cricket Team I want to Thank all the Old boys that came out today to support the team in every way ..

Special thanks to "Bigi" Micheal Marioghae once again , he showed us leadership on the field of play both with the Batting and fielding and we all promptly lined up behind his leadership. Like they say age is just a mind game..

To our BIG BROTHER, Godwin Tanaruno.. what can we say? God bless you for all the efforts. You spurred the team to a level of play we have not attained thus far this season. Our love and regards to our mummy {your mom} who was our special guest and the rest of the family for gracing the game.

PA ISI,  we are  most grateful,  we look forward to you kitting up and playing, not only playing but filling the leadership gap with bat and ball that Bigi will leave as he returns back to his Base. ..

To the Aggreh family!! We say keep the ship sailing and Thank you very much! !!!

We also give special thanks to Nero Asibelua and his foundations,Nero Asibelua Foundation for their support over the years and in particular the single handed renovation of the Cricket Pavilion in Government College Ughelli.

Mr. John Onwah,President if the GCUOBA Abuja Branch has also been of immense help to the Club in both financial and moral terms.

To Ese Onosode, I say that the Apple does not fall far from the tree. You are just an awesome brother  and Friend.. You came to our rescue at the right time.. But we shall visit you again very soon sir for further deliberations on the way forward. .

I can go on and on but can not at this time. We have too many people who I have not mentioned at this time. We will have to come back to do so at some other day.To those at home that prayed and fasted for the victory of the team we say THANK YOU...

The resilience of Chief Samuel Ogbuku, (PhD), Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), who nurtured the birth of the Niger Delta Chambers of Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture (NDCCITMA), came to bear when all other such chambers in the region put up a resistance against the registration of NDCCITMA, a battle that lasted over nine months. As the initiator and benefactor of the NDCCITMA, the management of the NDDC, established a management committee for the chambers to midwife it to solid take off point.
